The gold souk with over 250 shops has led Dubai to be called ‘The City of Gold’ and draws people from all over the planet to the country to these fabulous markets. The gem of Dubai which has caused visitors to flow to the city and stand in awe is the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest man-made structure. Combined with the city’s numerous buildings standing between 1/4 and 2/3 of a kilometre tall Dubai now has the tallest skyline in the world. The buildings in Dubai are not just tall, they are full of the latest technological advances. There are parks and palaces, towering fountains which dance and sway to beautiful music, gleaming lights and some of the best entertainment in the world.
